The design is bordered with the flora of the four nations of the United Kingdom: the rose for England, the thistle for Scotland, the daffodil for Wales and the shamrock for Northern Ireland, which are worked in outlining stitches, giving the borders an embossed look. The flora also reflect the King's love of plants.

A beautifully elegant design worked in whole cross stitches, in a regal thread palette, worthy of becoming a family heirloom. Stitched on 14 count Aida Fabric or 27 count Linda Evenweave fabric. Perfect for framing.

Kit contains 14 or 27 count Zweigart fabric, pre-sorted Stranded Cotton threads, needle, clear chart & full instructions and large colour image for easy reference.
